Quality systems - Model for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing

This International Standard is one of a series of three InternationalStandards dealing with quality systems that can beused for external quality assurance purposes. The alternativequality assurance models, set out in the three InternationalStandards listed below, represent three distinct forms of"functional or organizational capability" suitable for two-partycontractual purposes :- IS0 9001. Quality systems - Model for qualityassurance in design/development, production, installationand servicing.For use when conformance to specified requirements is tobe assured by the supplier during several stages which mayinclude design/development, production, installation andservicing.- IS0 9002, Quality systems - Model for qualityassurance in production and installation.For use when conformance to specified requirements is tobe assured by the supplier during production and installation.- IS0 9003, Quality systems - Model for qualityassurance in final inspection and test.For use when conformance to specified requirements is tobe assured by the supplier solely at final inspection and test.
